Fallowfields operate an in house spray finishing facility at their Factory in Staveley. Windows and doors can be spray finished to any RAL Colour or to a wide range of stain colours. Furniture and stairs can be clear lacquered to provide a hardwearing finish and we can also apply refreshing paint finishes to existing furniture such as kitchen doors to give them a new lease of life.
All our finishes are manufactured by Akzo Nobel – Sikkens. Sikkens continually advise us on paint finishing and provide us with a very good back up and advice service. We have used a tried and tested Sikkens Paint System for 15 years which is fully guaranteed. The latest finishes are all water borne making them safer and more environmentally friendly without compromising the long lasting and durable finish.
The Sikkens system used on Fallowfield Joinery is a 4 part system:
- Dip Treatment/Preservative
- Dip Primer
- 1No Spray Applied Midcoat
- 1 No Spray Applied Topcoat
